Before coming to this hut, we were living in the line houses. There was no facility there and we used to stay in a rented house. There was no electricity and no toilet facilities either. This place belongs to the estate. Another person was living here and we paid money to buy this place. We have a letter but not a deed.
Both my husband and I work in the estate. We have been working there for the past 4 years and we were not given a house in the estate. We have one daughter and two sons. Our sons work in the estate. Only the girl child goes to school. My two sons have been working in a factory for two months. One of my sons is not feeling well but he goes to work. The younger son goes to work because he cannot pay his school fees.
