Our first Line residence was uninhabitable, so the estate supervisors told us that they would build new houses. This work started in 2018. The houses built were not completed and there were many shortages. Even though these houses are built, we do not have the deed to this land. An old man was recently taken away by his daughter since there are no toilet facilities here. We are afraid to ask questions to the management. The place where we eat is where we weigh the tea leaves, under the tree or on the roads. I leave my children in the place where we weigh tea and then run back to the place during work hours to breastfeed them. If we take within 18-20 kg, a salary of 1000 rupees is given.
